Very good battery life. Tool and instructions provided. Replacement is fairly simple, but be careful of the thumb switch! If the switch pops open, it can be reassembled with great patience.

I bought this battery for my PDA in January. After a paltry three (3) months of use, the battery went from fully charged to completely stone cold dead right in the middle of a business meeting. The battery could no longer be charged *at all* and the PDA wouldn't work even when in its cradle. Well, guess what...upon opening the PDA I found that the battery was swollen and obviously physically deformed. Possible internal short? Possible fire hazard if left in the cradle unattended? Who's to say....but why take the chance?!?

My Garmin iQue 3600 was continually running out of battery power, so this upgrade was definitely needed. While it was a little scary opening up my PDA, it went well off enough. Be warned though- installation needs to be very precise, otherwise not all of the circuits will be closed.
