While I am very happy with the detail and information that is contained on the SD Card, I was extrememly disapointed to find out that you can only access the data when it is in your depthfinder. (Unless I'm missing something? There is a very clear warning from Navionics that states if you plug the card into anything but your depthfinder it will erase and/or corrupt all data making the card useless.)
I was looking forward to viewing these maps on my PC while preplanning a trip to another lake or state. To do that you have to sit in your boat with your GPS/Depthfinder on and scroll it around to the location you're looking for. Also there is no State by State index of lakes. You must scroll to the general area you're heading to and then find the lake you're looking for on the map itself.
I understand that Navionics is trying to keep their info private but for $150 I was expecting a LOT more usability and versatility.
