Only a few manufacturers offer replacement displays and even then the exchange is usually very costly. The solution: DISPLEX offers a simple solution for this widespread customer problem. With this new type of special polishing paste end users have for the first time the possibility of eliminating the scratches in their mobile phone displays quickly and cost-effectively in a do-it-yourself process. The use: Apply some DISPLEX to the cell phone display. Polish the scratched areas with heavy pressure for 2-3 minutes with a soft clean cotton cloth. Repeat application as necessary for deep scratches. Remove residue. Attention: do not polish coated surfaces. Treat the transparent part of the display lens exclusively. Contents of the 5 gram tube is sufficient for approximately 8-10 applications. The method of operation: The plastic lens is lightly dissolved and polished with fine abrasive particles. The corners of the scratch traces are rounded off and the fissure bottom filled out with the material of the lens itself. Purchased product to fix scratches on my cell phone's LCD display. I followed the instructions carefully and used the enclosed white cotton squares. Instead of removing the few scratches it had, it is now covered with a whole new set of scratches all over the display. I now have to pay to replace the whole LCD screen thanks to this product. The eight dollars to purchase the product is not worth the hundred dollars it's going to cost me to have the LCD display fixed. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!

I bought Displex to clean up 3 years worth of scratches on my video iPod that has been kicking around in my purse. It worked very well. Not perfectly. But after using Displex, and then adding a clear iPod protector it looks brand new!! I'm very happy with this product.

For something so expensive and so small, I expected it to work on scratches and cuts, however, it doesn't work at all, and only made things smudgy and blurry. I wouldn't recommend this product, to anyone, especially as pricey as it is.
