Issue with Osprey - Talon M5 replacement battery January 15, 2008

Ordered Garmin M5 battery from Osprey-Talon, through Amazon. Battery would not take a charge. Returned to sender. Osprey-Talon sent a replacement battery. Again, it would not take a charge. In the meantime the original Garmin battery that came in the M5 when it was new continues to function normally and take a charge normally. Have returned the second unit to Osprey-Talon for a refund.. It appears that the Osprey-Talon battery has the contact strips set further inside the battery covering, which may not allow it to contact with the strips in the M5
