RoadMate 1400 November 26, 2008 Very easy to use. Easily mounts to top of dash. Good display and driving directions. Great buy. Don't know why you can't get a topo version.
Why would you pay more? November 23, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is your basic GPS device that is user friendly, reliable. We're sure there are devices with more features but at our age we're happy just to know how to get there. It doesn't say "recalculating route" if you go wrong or change plans therefore you might not know right away that you missed a turn.
Great little gps for the money November 23, 2008 My husband had trouble hearing while driving when the old gps would talk and more trouble seeing the smaller screen. This is much better for our use and will get more use when going to Oahu soon.
impressive November 23, 2008 My wife and I had never owned a GPS unit before. At our age (late70's),we look for an easy to use and understand unit..This Magellan has both of those qualities, and more..
Great Value November 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was skeptical of this product just due to the price compared to other GPS systems. But, I read the review of the individuals who purchased before me and decided to give it a try. I love it! I'm so glad I didn't waste my money by ordering a more expensive GPS.
